Quilter Looks Awesome - How is it wroking for you?

Just found Quilter after asking GPT if there are any good AI Layout tools for Ki-cad since AI is working so well with helping speed up ESP32 coding.

I see they raised 25 Million in investment last month which is a good sign.

This seems like a needed tool to speed up layout work so I’m curious what the feedback is from other users.

The forum seems a little dead, but maybe the software works so good nobody has questions.

Would love to hear so feedback from other users.

Looking forward to giving it a try but I’m still alittle unclear as to what the actual cost is or if it’s free to test or what if your just trying it out to see how it works.

Curious who is using the platform successfully and why it seems so dead.

@rwb.ceo welcome!

Give it a shot and check it out. Quilter is free for non-commercial use-cases - so assuming that’s you, go break it, have fun, and let us know what you think! It takes some time and effort to learn to use well just like any tool - so let us know where you get stuck.

It’s certainly not dead - we’re running enough boards each day that I can’t handle the notification spam anymore and have to silence it :laughing: . But that said, for support - most people hit us up on Intercom. It’s the little chat bubble on the bottom right that you can hit at any stage. We see quite a few requests there daily - so I think folks are just finding that easier / more convenient than a forum.

I guess it’s right there and available + has a little chat bot that’s trained on our docs to help hence why everyone uses it? :man_shrugging:

But in any case, happy to help out here as well. Also: https://docs.quilter.ai/ if helpful!

Always a good sign when the CEO resonds to your replies in less than 30 Mins :grinning_face:

Thanks for your feedback.

Yes the Intercom support chat is very handy and with your quick responses it makes sense they prefer that to the slower Forum support.

I’ll give it a go and see how it goes, looking forward to it.

AI and layout is for sure the future so nice to see you guys are on the cutting edge of that and it’s only going to get better as AI progresses quickly.
