While using your company’s Quilter AI automatic routing tool, I followed the requirements and imported the schematic drawn with Altium software, the project file, and the PCB file with a closed board outline. The PCB file already contained the netlist and component information exported from the schematic. However, when submitting the files for parsing, it consistently failed. The error displayed was “parsing failure,” but no specific reason was provided. This significantly impacted the user experience. I wonder if there is a way to visually indicate what might be missing in my PCB file or what specific errors are causing the parsing failure. Thank you!
Hi, my apologies - yes parsing issues do come up as a problem for us now and again, and are quite difficult for the user to solve. I try to jump in and help as I can - usually if we take a look at the back-end trace logs we can distill pretty quickly what went wrong and correct. We’re aware that it would be much better if users could resolve parsing issues themselves and are working towards some improvement in that area. But namely also just reducing the parsing issues as we run into more and more corner cases
