Defining a Keepout Area or bringing over a keepout area from KICAD
How come my keepout area was not adhered to in my KICAD netlist?
We typically do support keepout areas defined in KiCAD. Are you saying that Quilter routed into a keepout area that you defined in the input file that you passed to Quilter?
Yes, I don’t know if you can see the link, but the keepout was to keep components out. Traces are ok.
If you can’t see the picture, it was just a keepout area that I had boxed in on my layout on one side of the board. Components were placed in a keepout zone. Perhaps I did not define the keepout correctly.
I think the problem here is that the keepout is defined in that component on the silkscreen layer. If you flip it to the top copper layer it should do the trick.
